Clinical & Therapeutic Pilates
Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates at Horseshoe Bay Health & Performance, West Vancouver, is provided one-on-one by a registered physiotherapist and is an evidence-informed approach to injury rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and improving movement through low-impact exercise.
Following a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, your clinician will develop an individualized program tailored to your diagnosis, movement patterns, strength, mobility, and rehabilitation goals. Using specialized Pilates equipment - including reformers, Wunda chairs, and other apparatus -alongside mat-based exercises, Clinical Pilates is designed to improve core strength, stability, balance, mobility, posture, and functional movement.
Clinical Pilates is an excellent option for individuals recovering from injury or surgery, managing acute or persistent pain, returning to sport, or addressing specific movement impairments under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
